CUBAN BASEBALL

Among all the places our research efforts have sent us, perhaps the most fascinating is Cuba. Nowhere is the love of baseball shared as passionately. We first visited the island in 1993, and have been back several times since. Although our focus has been the pre-Castro professional Cuban League, the island’s rich baseball history also included numerous amateur and company-sponsored teams. Before the Revolution, Cuban baseball was enriched by American Negro Leaguers and later Major Leaguers who played there in the winter. Today, we’re bringing you a mix of seven all-new ballcaps from Cuba.
