Hebrew Orphan Asylum
The Hebrew Orphan Asylum - a large Jewish charitable institution on the Upper West Side of Manhattan - served a second purpose in the 1930s as host of many Negro league baseball games, including those of the Negro National League's New York Black Yankees.
