League: Cuban National Amateur League
History: Team sponsored by the Cuban Telephone Company. The team began play in 1925 in the Intersocial League and later moved to the National Amateur League, where they won four titles. Teléfonos pitcher Juanito Decall defeated the visiting Boston Red Sox which included Dom DiMaggio, Jimmie Foxx, and Bobby Doerr in 1941, in one of Cuban baseball’s finest moments.
