Nashville Vols
The Vols finished second in 1936 against strong competition. Double Joe Dwyer led the Southern circuit in hits, runs, and doubles. Dwyer played for 15 different clubs over a 21-year career, with only a brief "cup of coffee" in Cincinnati in 1937. He finished his career with the Newark Bears in 1945.
