This is our Hy Cohen jersey. Typical of a pro ballplayer from his era, Hy bounced around from the lowest level of the minors (La Grange in the Georgia-Alabama League) to the highest (Los Angeles in the PCL, where he was inexplicably shipped down to Tulsa after compiling a 5-0 record).) He even had the proverbial "cup of coffee" for the 1955 Chicago Cubs, where the 6' 5" 220-pounder pitched 17 innings and ran up a 7.94 ERA. Hy is thankfully still with us at the age of 83.
