The 1951 Sooners won their first National Baseball Championship under legendary Oklahoma coach Jack Baer. The Sooners cruised through the tournament with a perfect 7-0 record. In the title game, they erased a 2-0 deficit in their 3-2 comeback victory over the favored Tennessee Volunteers to capture the Championship.
