History: After winning the PCL title, the Bees abandoned Salt Lake City and moved to Los Angeles, becoming the first version of the Hollywood Stars. Hollywood shared Wrigley Field with the rival Angels. Lefty O'Doul led the club in hitting with a .338 average.
