History: Vito "Babe" Parilli had 7 pro seasons in the NFL and CFL under his belt before joining the Oakland Raiders of the new AFL in 1960 and settling in with the Boston Patriots from 1961-1967. He became a star QB with the Pats setting many passing records and earning 3 All-Star appearances including the games MVP in 1966. Babe is a member of the Patriots 1960s All-Decade team and earned himself a Super Bowl ring as a member of the New York Jets playing back up to Joe Namath in Super Bowl III.
