History: After representing Atlanta since 1884, 1963 marked one of the final years in the long history of Crackers baseball in Atlanta, which came to an end in 1965 with the arrival of the Braves from Milwaukee. The Crackers played as a class-AAA affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals in 1963.

It's crazy! People see my jersey and think I made it myself as a social slur. They are amazed and incredulous when I tell them no, that I didn't make this up. And that this was a real team that existed from 1901 to 1965, and that the number 20 adorned on my replica 1963 jersey was worn by Harry "the Hat" Walker. It's a great conversation starter!
