History: The Provincial League operated in the province of Quebec from the 1930s to 1971, sometimes as an independent circuit, and sometimes as a member of the National Association ("organized baseball"). The Athletics moved to the Canadian-American League in 1941 and became an affiliate of the Brooklyn Dodgers. The patch on the sleeve represents Black Horse Ale, a team sponsor.
