History: Reddy Kilowatt first appeared in the 1920’s and was used for several decades by power utilities to promote the use of electric power and safe electricity. In the 1940s, many companies (including public utilities) sponsored amateur and semi-pro ballclubs. The inspiration for our cotton twill cap collection comes from souvenir caps made for kids in the 1950s and 60s.
