Description: An authentic Los Angeles Angels satin windbreaker from 1961. Our new line of MLB vintage windbreakers are inspired by models from the 1950s and '60s, and use our classic cotton-backed acetate satin.

History: In the first-ever MLB expansion, American League owners were keen to grab a piece of the new Southern California territory the NL Dodgers had pioneered three years earlier. The new club adopted both the name and the ballpark (Wrigley Field) of the old Pacific Coast League team. In their second season, the Angels moved into Dodger Stadium (calling it “Chavez Ravine” for marketing purposes) and won 90 games, making a run at the pennant.
