Hot Springs Bathers 1953 Home Jersey
COTTON STATES LEAGUE
HISTORY
Hot Springs tried to integrate the CSL in 1953 by signing pitching brothers Jim and Leander Tugerson for the 1953 season. They were threatened with expulsion from the league for their efforts, and neither brother actually appeared for the Bathers in a game that season, despite the team's efforts.
NEW! - Cotton States League
- Six years after Jackie Robinson broke the major leagues' color line, the Hot Springs Bathers tried to do the same for the Cotton States League by signing the brothers Jim and Earl Tugerson.
