COTTON TWILL BALLCAP HONORING THE 1941 SEATTLE RAINIERS

History: In 1941, the Seattle Rainiers won their third straight Pacific Coast League pennant — the capstone of the greatest run in franchise history. Owner Emil Sick had bought the team just three years earlier, renamed them after his Rainier Brewing Company, built Sicks' Stadium in Rainier Valley, and watched his club win in 1939, 1940, and 1941 in succession. The Rainiers led all of minor league baseball in attendance across that stretch, packing the stadium beneath the shadow of Mount Rainier on summer nights that Seattle still talks about.
