JERSEY HONORING PUDGE RODRIGUEZ'S TIME WITH THE TULSA DRILLERS

History:
One of the best catchers in MLB history, Iván "Pudge" Rodriguez spent the majority of his career with the Texas Rangers, where in 1991 he became the youngest player to catch a major league game. He was named the American League MVP in 1999, he won a World Series with the Marlins in '03, and in nine seasons he logged a caught-stealing percentage over 50%. But before his illustrious major league career began, Ridriguez played for the AA team the Tulsa Drillers. He was considered the top prospect in the Texas league, and the Texas Rangers called him up in the middle of the '91 season, bypassing AAA entirely.

Made from a polyester knit fabric with a sturdy hand-feel and a tackle twill appliqué logo, this jersey pays homage to the time Pudge Rodriguez spent with the Tulsa Drillers minor league team.
