V-NECK MESH JERSEY HONORING THE NY BLACK YANKEES

History: Originally named the Harlem Stars, the New York Black Yankees were founded in the summer of 1932. They spent their first years barnstorming across the country, sometimes playing doubleheaders in different states on successive days, before joining the Negro National League in 1936 and eventually playing their home games at Yankee Stadium when the American League Yankees were on the road. Hall of Famer Satchel Paige had a stint with the Black Yankees, as did memorable stars like “Fats” Jenkins, Ted “Double Duty” Radcliffe, and “Mule” Suttles.

Made from breathable knit mesh with tackle twill appliqué lettering and logos, this jersey is inspired by the on-field uniform worn by the New York Black Yankees.
