Los Angeles Angels (PCL) 1942 Mesh Button-Up Road Jersey
$108 USD
MESH BUTTON-UP JERSEY HONORING THE 1942 LOS ANGELES ANGELS OF THE PCL
History: The Los Angeles Angels played the 1942 season with the war hanging over everything. Pearl Harbor had come just months before Opening Day, and the PCL pushed on while rosters began to thin — players departing for military service as the summer wore on. The Angels, a Cubs affiliate playing at LA's Wrigley Field, finished just one game out of first place under manager Jigger Statz, their closest brush with a pennant in nearly a decade. They wouldn't get another chance until the war was over.
Made from breathable knit mesh with tackle twill appliqué lettering and logos, this jersey is inspired by the away uniform worn by the 1942 Los Angeles Angels.
