AUTHENTIC REPRODUCTION OF THE KC MONARCHS 1922 TEAM SWEATER

History: The Monarchs played in the first Negro Leagues World Series against the Eastern Colored League winners, the Hilldale club of Philadelphia. Kansas City defeated Hilldale in a tight series, five games to four, with games being played at KC’s Muehlbach Stadium and Philadelphia’s Baker Bowl, home of the Phillies. The series included five future Hall of Famers, Kansas City’s manager Jose Mendez and Bullet Rogan, and Hilldale’s Biz Mackey, Judy Johnson, and Louis Santop.

In partnership with the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum (NLBM), we are proud to offer this authentic wool cardigan. A portion of proceeds from this product will support the NLBM in Kansas City. For more information about the museum, visit www.nlbm.com
