AUTHENTIC WOOL BALLCAP OF THE 1940 LEONES DE HABANA

History: The 1940 season marked one of the many chapters in the long, storied run of Los Leones de Habana in the Cuban League, the franchise that would go on to capture a historic 30 Cuban League championships across its existence. In the 1940–41 campaign, Habana posted a strong 31–18–5 record, securing the league pennant under the leadership of manager Miguel A. González and outpacing rivals like Almendares and Cienfuegos in a tightly contested winter schedule.

Made from genuine wool broadcloth with a green satin underbrim, this is a recreation of the ballcap worn by the 1940 Leones de Habana.
