COTTON TWILL BALLCAP HONORING THE 1919 CHICAGO AMERICAN GIANTS

History: Before the Negro National League was founded, the Chicago American Giants had already established themselves as one of the dominant forces in Black baseball. Organized by Andrew “Rube” Foster, the club attracted elite players and helped demonstrate that Black baseball could support a successful, professionally organized national competition. Their achievements during the independent era laid the groundwork for Foster’s creation of the Negro National League in 1920, a landmark development that transformed the future of Black baseball.

Made from sturdy cotton twill and finished with our signature green satin underbrim, this hat is inspired by the on-field ballcap worn by the 1919 Chicago American Giants.
