University of Notre Dame Heavyweight Cotton Terry Pullover Hoodie
A VINTAGE-STYLE HEAVYWEIGHT HOODIE HONORING THE UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME
History: While Notre Dame was founded in 1842 by French missionaries, over the years its heavily Irish Catholic student body imbued the university with celtic heritage. The name “Fighting Irish” was made official in 1927, and the shamrock — a quintessential Irish symbol — became a secondary emblem for the school, eventually making its way to the side of Notre Dame football helmets from 1959-62.
This hoodie takes the shamrock design from our varsity jacket and applies it to a vintage-style hoodie made from a heavyweight French terry just like they made ‘em back in the day.
