AUTHENTIC WOOL BALLCAP HONORING THE 1950 NANKAI HAWKS

History: The 1950 Nankai Hawks played their first season in the newly created Pacific League after Japanese professional baseball split into two leagues. Managed by player-manager Kazuto Tsuruoka, Nankai went 66–49–5 to finish second behind the Mainichi Orions. The club was already laying the foundation for a remarkable decade: just one year later, the Hawks went 72–24–8, the best winning percentage in NPB history at the time, and reached the Japan Series for the first time. Tsuruoka would become the central figure of Nankai’s golden era.

Made from genuine wool broadcloth and finished with our signature green satin underbrim, this ballcap honors the 1950 Nankai Hawks.
