A VINTAGE BASEBALL TEE HONORING THE BEST MINOR LEAGUE TEAM

History: The Angels were formed in 1903 as charter members of the PCL. The club was bought by chewing gum magnate William Wrigley Jr. in 1921, and soon built the first Wrigley Field, a spectacular double-decked 21,000 seat ballpark at 42nd and Avalon. In 1958, they were forced to move to a smaller market as a result of the Brooklyn Dodgers' move to Los Angeles, which brought Major League Baseball competition into the PCL's territory. The franchise relocated to Spokane, Washington, as the Spokane Indians.

The 1903, 1934, and 1943 Angels were recognized as being among the 100 greatest minor league teams of all time. The 1934 team, with a 137–50 record, was ranked as the number one minor league team.

Designed in the style of the baseball tees worn in the 20th century, this lightweight, 180gsm cotton tee boasts navy raglan 3/4 length sleeves and is printed with the legendary 1957 “Los Angeles” script on the chest.
