History: The Michigan State Spartans baseball team won their first Big Ten Championship and appeared in their only College World Series in 1954. A key to their success was infielder Earl Morrall. While Morrall was a steady .270 career hitter for the Spartans, it was his prowess on the Gridiron for which he is known best. After leading the Spartans to a Rose Bowl victory and a #2 ranking in 1956, he was drafted in the first round by the 49ers and went on to a highly successful 21 year NFL career. The Michigan State Spartans are members of the Big Ten Conference and play their home games in Drayton McLane Baseball Stadium at John H. Kobs Field, East Lansing, Michigan.

This is the second hat I purchased from Ebbets both have been top quality and fit true to size. Much better quality than other brands and well worth the price.
I bought this for my dad. He loves a quality fitted hat and the throwback logo is just his style as he is not a man to wear flashy apparel. Very impressed with the quality. I will likely buy another for myself.
Out of all of the Michigan State hats I have owned as a Spartan - this one is the best. Thank you!
Just like the one worn by MSU's All American and CWSMVP Tom Yewcic! I hope that #EbbitsFieldFlannels adds more #MichiganState items to their catalog!
I’ve been searching for an authentic “S” Spartan cap like the one coach Duffy Daugherty wore when I was a student at MSU in the ’60’s. Ebbets Field Flannels has come through with the real deal. The fit, shape, color, and attention to detail are outstanding. I have several EFF caps, but this one is my favorite.
