History: The Seals were charter members of the PCL, and won fourteen league titles during their long tenure in the league. The DiMaggio brothers, Joe, Dom, and Vince, all played for the Seals. During the 1933 season, 18-year-old Joe DiMaggio had a 61-game hitting streak. After leaving San Francisco’s Recreation Park, the Seals moved into modern Seals Stadium in the Mission District in1931, sharing it for several years with the Mission Reds.
