Plummer was a long-distance slugger and finished up the season with a .308 batting average. He was awarded the Torrance Inspirational Award and upon graduation signed with the Los Angeles professional club. The University of Washington Huskies are currently members of the Pac-12 Conference and play their home games on Chaffey Field at Husky Ballpark, Seattle, Washington.
