League: Collegiate Baseball
History: 1968 was not a good year on the field for the Wildcats. The team finished with a conference record of 6-9-0, and an overall record that was even worse as they went 3-7-0 against non-conference opponents. The field itself was one of few bright spots for Kentucky, as the school broke ground on Cliff Hagan Stadium, AKA “The Cliff,” that year before opening the new stadium in 1969. The Cliff served as UK’s home baseball stadium until 2018, during which time the program reached the NCAA Tournament 7 times.
