Kansas City Monarchs 1942 Home Jersey
History: In a career that spanned 40 years, legendary pitcher Satchel Paige (#25) has been officially credited as playing for 17 different professional ballclubs in five different countries, famously going anywhere he could collect a paycheck. However, Paige is most associated with his time playing for the Kansas City Monarchs, and in particular, while playing in this uniform in 1942, while leading the Monarchs to their ninth league pennant and second Negro World Series title.

I now have 7 baseball jerseys from Ebbets, a few hats and a hockey sweater. This statement alone speaks to how much I love the quality and design of their items. It’s fun to get comments from people who have some sort of connection to the team I’m wearing. One of those people was Lefty O’Douls nephew who recognized my SF Seals jersey with #26 on the back.
The jersey is awesome! It looks and feels authentic.
The jersey arrived sooner than I expected, and looks better than the photo. It is extra special to have a jersey made just like the one Satchel Paige wore.
This was my first order with Ebbets Field but it won't be my last this is a very high quality jersey and looks amazing. FYI It does indeed take the 4-6 weeks for delivery but it is worth the wait. Love it!
Great, knowledgeable staff; they got the item to me in a week; great packaging. Jersey fits great and feels like a real piece of history.
