History: The 1950 season proved to be the final campaign for this once-proud franchise. At one time, the “Little Giants” routinely packed the stands at Roosevelt Stadium, which also saw the debut of Jackie Robinson in his first game in “organized” baseball in 1946. As was the case across the country, the new phenomenon of television drastically affected attendance, as fans in Jersey City soon had games beamed into their living rooms from the three MLB teams across the river in New York. On the field, the team performed well enough to make the post-season playoffs, but the writing was on the wall and the franchise was transferred to Ottawa, Canada for the 1951 season.

Great Hat!!

Such a good hat, the design is legendary, harkening not only the prestige that is Baseball culture in the eastern seaboard but also the stark awe that the whole storied Giants baseball franchise gives as well. Big fan of EFF to say the least!!
