History: The 1949 Boston College Eagles baseball team were led by Co-Captains Johnny Yurewicz and Johnny Brosnahan who delivered retiring Head Coach Freddy Maguire a season record of 20-4 and a New England NCAA Championship. The Boston College Eagles are currently members of the Atlantic Coast Conference and play their home games at Alumni Stadium in Chestnut Hill, Mass.
