League: Collegiate Baseball
History: The Boston College Eagles Baseball team of 1966 were considered a dark-horse when league play began, but by the final game they'd been molded into a NCAA tournament team that almost made a trip to Omaha for the College World Series. The Eagles were led by All-League players Bill O'Brien and Ed Foley. They did set a record for broken bats with eleven in three innings in a victory over Providence! The Boston College Eagles are currently members of the Atlantic Coast Conference and play their home games at Alumni Stadium in Chestnut Hill, Mass.
