JERSEY HONORING BARRY LARKIN'S TIME WITH THE DENVER ZEPHYRS

History:
Born and raised in Cincinnati, Barry Larkin played his entire professional career for his home team, the Reds. During his time in the majors, Larkin amassed nine Silver Slugger awards, three Gold Gloves, a National League MVP award in '95, and helped lead the 1990 squad to a World Series championship. But before the twelve-time All-Star took the field for the Reds, he played for the Denver Zephyrs, a minor league team affiliated with Cincinnati from just '85–'86. His short stint with the Zephyrs earned him a Rookie of the Year and AAA Player of the Year award, setting the stage for what would become a Hall of Fame career.

Made from a polyester knit fabric with a sturdy hand-feel and a tackle twill appliqué logo, this jersey pays homage to the time Barry Larkin spent with the Denver Zephyrs minor league team.
