WOOL BALLCAP HONORING THE 1940 SAN FRANCISCO SEALS

History: A charter member of the famed Pacific Coast League, the San Francisco Seals are one of the most recognizable minor league teams of all time. They were connected to all of the biggest teams in baseball, having been affiliated with the Yankees, Red Sox, Dodgers, and Giants at one time or another across their 54 year history.

Made from genuine wool broadcloth with our signature green satin underbrim, this hat is inspired by the one worn by the 1940 Seals and their manager Lefty O’Doul, who ended his big-league career with a .349 career batting average (the sixth highest in MLB history) and somehow never made the Hall of Fame.
