WOOL MESH TRUCKER HAT HONORING THE 1936 TOKYO GIANTS

History: The fall season of 1936 saw the Kyojin win their first of eight consecutive Japanese Baseball League championships. The star of the club in the 1930s was pitcher Victor Starffin, an ethnic Russian who was the son of a Russian military officer. A phenom in the Japanese youth baseball ranks, Starffin originally intended to give up to go to university but was blackmailed into playing professionally in Tokyo after his father was put in jail.

This isn't like the trucker hats you'll find anywhere else. Made from genuine wool broadcloth on the front and the brim, a vintage-style mesh on the back, and finished with the crest from the 1936 Tokyo Giants uniform, this trucker-style ballcap pulls inspiration from the hyper-wearable practice caps of the '70s and '80s.
