A THROWBACK WOOL JACKET HONORING THE JACKIE ROBINSON ALL-STARS
History: On April 15, 1947, Jackie Robinson stepped onto Ebbets Field for his first game with the Brooklyn Dodgers, breaking the MLB “color line” as the first Black player in the league. Jackie’s character, dignity, and toughness continues to inspire us today. After his historic first major league season, Robinson formed the Jackie Robinson All-Stars, an integrated squad of minor and major leaguers who toured around the country, giving fans a chance to see their heroes up close and personal.
Inspired by the jacket Robinson and his All-Stars wore while touring and made with period-accurate lettering, this throwback wool jacket celebrates Jackie’s All-Stars and their impact on the game.
