AN AUTHENTIC REPLICA OF BIRMINGHAM’S BBB LOGO

History: The Birmingham Black Barons joined the original Negro National League in 1928. After that circuit's demise they became charter members of the Negro American League. In 1948 they defeated the Monarchs for the pennant with a 15 year-old Willie Mays in the outfield.

To celebrate the start of the Say Hey Kid’s career and a legendary baseball team, we reproduced the on-field ballcap worn by the pennant-winning squad from 1948. It’s a genuine replica, made with period-correct wool broadcloth and finished with felt “BBB” on the crown.
