Reddy Kilowatt Dna Varsity Jacket
History: The Reddy Kilowatt character first appeared in 1926, and was used for several decades by power utilities to promote the use of electric power and safe electricity. This design was worn in the 1940s at a time when many companies (including public utilities) sponsored amateur and semi-pro ballclubs.
A classic built with the same care as the originals. The body pairs an 80% wool, 20% poly blend with full leather sleeves, finished with rib-knit cuffs for a true letterman feel. Chenille-on-felt patches and chainstitch embroidery recall the hand-worked varsity styles of mid-century campuses, while welt leather pockets and a quilted lining add the comfort and durability you’d expect from an Ebbets piece.
