JERSEY HONORING TIM RAINES' TIME WITH THE MEMPHIS CHICKS

History: Pitchers hated to see Tim Raines get to first. A four-time stolen base champion who once clocked 90 steals in one season, he was a force to be reckoned with on the base path. But before the Hall of Famer and four-time All-Star made it to the majors, he played for the Memphis Chicks, a AA team in the Montreal Expos farm system. After a great showcase in the minors, in 1979 he was selected for the Southern League Postseason All-Star team, and later that year he was called up to play for the Expos.

Made from a polyester knit fabric with a sturdy hand-feel and a tackle twill appliqué logo, this jersey pays homage to the time Tim Raines spent with the Memphis Chicks minor league team.
