COTTON TWILL ROAD JERSEY HONORING THE 1939 SEATTLE RAINIERS

History: The Seattle Rainiers captured the 1939 Pacific Coast League pennant with a 101–73 record under manager Jack Lelivelt. Their home was Sick’s Stadium, a modern concrete-and-steel ballpark that had opened in 1938 with seating closer to the action than Seattle’s previous grounds. The 1939 campaign also brought recognition for young pitcher Fred Hutchinson, named minor-league player of the year. The Rainiers’ success helped establish Sick’s Stadium as a centerpiece of Seattle baseball, and the club followed its pennant with another first-place finish in 1940.

Made from classic and comfortable cotton twill with felt appliqué lettering, this button-up jersey is inspired by the away uniform worn by the 1939 Seattle Rainiers
