New York Giants 1954 Satin Windbreaker Jacket
AUTHENTIC WINDBREAKER JACKET WORN BY THE NEW YORK GIANTS
History: The 1954 New York Giants finished the season with a record of 97-57 in winning the National League pennant with Manager Leo 'The Lip" Durocher at the helm. Future Hall of Famer Willie Mays won the NL MVP belting 41 dingers and batting .341. The Giants would go on to sweep the World Series over the Cleveland Indians. Willie Mays made the 8th inning over-the-shoulder catch to rob Vic Wertz of giving the Indians a lead in Game 1.
This style is an authentic New York Giants satin windbreaker from 1954. Our line of MLB vintage windbreakers are inspired by models from the 1950s and '60s, and use our classic cotton-backed acetate satin.Â
