Kansas City Monarchs 1936 Road Jersey Cotton Twill
$168 USD
COTTON TWILL ROAD JERSEY HONORING THE 1936 KANSAS CITY MONARCHS
History: The Kansas City Monarchs were one of Black baseball’s most successful franchises, winning three consecutive Negro National League pennants from 1923 through 1925. After the original league era ended, the Monarchs continued playing independently, barnstorming across the country and keeping their reputation alive before joining the Negro American League in 1937. Their tradition of developing extraordinary talent — from pitcher Bullet Rogan to future stars such as Satchel Paige — made the Monarchs a benchmark for excellence throughout the Negro Leagues.
Made with classic and comfortable cotton twill with felt appliqué lettering and logos, this button-up jersey is inspired by the away uniform worn by the 1936 Kansas City Monarchs
