HEAVYWEIGHT PULLOVER HOODIE INSPIRED BY THE 1924 KANSAS CITY MONARCHS ROAD JERSEY

History: The Kansas City Monarchs made history in 1924 by winning the first Colored World Series, defeating the Eastern Colored League’s Hilldale club in a showdown between the two leading Black baseball leagues. Managed by the extraordinary Bullet Rogan, the Monarchs featured a formidable lineup that included Newt Joseph, Dobie Moore and Heavy Johnson. Their championship established Kansas City as a powerhouse of Black baseball and began a tradition of excellence that would make the Monarchs one of the most celebrated franchises in Negro League history.

Made from a heavyweight French terry with felt appliqué designs, this hoodie is inspired by the away uniform worn by the 1924 Kansas City Monarchs.
