DENIM BALLCAP HONORING THE 1949 BROOKLYN BUSHWICKS

History: For nearly four decades, the Brooklyn Bushwicks were the best semi-pro baseball team in New York — maybe in the country. They packed 15,000 fans into Dexter Park on Sunday afternoons, outdrew big-league franchises like the Phillies and the Boston Braves, and won four straight Inter-American Series titles from 1946 to 1949, where they represented the United States against the champions of Venezuela, Cuba, and Mexico. Then television arrived, Jackie Robinson integrated the majors, the Negro League opponents they'd barnstormed with disappeared, and the money dried up. The Bushwicks folded after 1951.

Made from dark wash denim with our signature green satin underbrim and featuring the Bushwicks 'B' in white felt appliqué, this ballcap pays tribute to a foundational team that played a stone’s throw from our namesake.
