Mossy Oak x Ebbets Field 1956 USA National Team Ballcap
1956 USA NATIONAL TEAM BALLCAP BY MOSSY OAK X EBBETS FIELD
History: Drawn from the hardwoods of Mississippi, Mossy Oak’s Bottomland pattern pioneered a naturalistic approach to camouflage — using muted tones, photo-real textures, and a natural depth to blend the human outline seamlessly into the surrounding woods. They provided the custom fabric for this collaboration, recasting their iconic camo in a classic wool blend fabric, which we then used to give some of our fan-favorite hats a special design flip.
Baseball was a “demonstration” sport at the 1956 Games held in Melbourne, Australia. The lone match was played at the Melbourne Cricket Grounds between the United States and Australia, with the US represented by a detachment of the US Far East Command and Australia represented by its national team. The US was declared the winner after six innings by a score of 11-5.
This hat features Mossy Oak's iconic Bottomland Camo in the body, our classic wool broadcloth in olive on the brim, and a felt appliqué of the 1956 USA National Team logo on the front.
