Mossy Oak x Ebbets Field 1945 Kansas City Monarchs Ballcap
1945 KANSAS CITY MONARCHS BALLCAP BY MOSSY OAK X EBBETS FIELD
History: Drawn from the hardwoods of Mississippi, Mossy Oak’s Bottomland pattern pioneered a naturalistic approach to camouflage — using muted tones, photo-real textures, and a natural depth to blend the human outline seamlessly into the surrounding woods. They provided the custom fabric for this collaboration, recasting their iconic camo in a classic wool blend fabric, which we then used to give some of our fan-favorite hats a special design flip.
One of the most renowned Negro Leagues teams of all time, the Kansas City Monarchs produced fourteen Hall of Famers, from Bullet Rogan in the 1920s to Ernie Banks in the early 1950s. The 1945 squad included Satchel Paige and Jackie Robinson in his professional debut, who hit over .370 during the season before signing with Brooklyn.
This hat features Mossy Oak's iconic Bottomland Camo in the body, our classic wool broadcloth in olive on the brim, and a felt appliqué of the 1945 Kansas City Monarchs logo on the front.
