Los Angeles Angels (PCL) Cotton Twill Jersey
THE 1957 LOS ANGELES LOGO SCRIPT REIMAGINED FOR THE MODERN DAY
History: One of American baseball’s original minor league teams, the LA Angels joined the Pacific Coast League as a charter member in 1903. Also known as the Seraphs, the squad started strong, winning pennants in 1903, 1905, 1907, 1908, 1916, 1918, and 1921. Later on, the 1940s and 1950s saw the Angels field some of the greatest individual team in minor league history.
The ‘57 Angels were led by fence-buster Steve Bilko, who finished the season with a whopping 56 home runs. However, after the season, the Dodgers moved West from Brooklyn, marking the end of Angels baseball and the city’s association with the Pacific Coast League.
Staying true to the designs of the era, this jersey features mid-century-inspired lettering and logos. Crafted with lightweight twill, the jersey retains the hard-wearing durability of vintage wool jerseys but easier to wear and easier to wash.
