Mission Bears Cotton Twill Ballcap
A TRIBUTE THE 1926 BAY AREA MISSION BEARS
History: The Vernon Tigers pulled up stakes in 1926 and moved to San Francisco, where they changed their name to the Bears and shared The City with established Seals. The Bears had a record of 106-94 in 1926, good enough for third place (the PCL played 200 games a year at the time). The Bears moniker lasted only one season, and for the rest of their stay in SF the team was known as the Mission Bells or Reds.
This hat is an homage to that Bears team, drawing inspiration from their 1926 season in the Bay. It’s made from sturdy cotton twill and finished with a felt bear emblem on the front.
