League: Federal League
History: The ChiFeds were christened the "Whales" in 1915, their third season. Owner Charles Weeghman was determined to outdo the rival Cubs and White Sox, and built a state-of-the-art ballpark on the North Side named after himself (of course). In the settlement that ended the Federal League, Weeghman was allowed to purchase the Cubs and move them into his ballpark, eventually re-named Wrigley Field. The Whales brought the FL pennant home in 1915, the Feds' last season. This is an 8-panel cap.

Love this hat!!!
I, love, love, love this hat.
Classic cap, amazing details
The hat was really amazing when I received it and the attention to detail is what put it over the top for me. It has an 8 panel design which makes it a bit more shallow than the newer caps you're used to, but the overall quality is solid. Leather sweatband, satin under brim and seam taping inside the crown is a really nice touch. It has a soft brim so don't think that you'll be able to rock this with a flat brim (thank god), but overall I was very impressed and get comments each time I wear it. I got the 8" sized version so it is a bit elongated in the back to fit the circumference, but once on it looks great!
