Victoria Rosebuds 1959 Road Jersey
History: This city, 30 miles inland from the Gulf of Mexico, was the smallest market in the AA Texas League, but future MLB stars who played for the Rosebuds include Tommy Davis, Dave McNally, and Frank Howard. Former Brooklyn Dodger great Pete Reiser managed the ’59 club to the Texas League regular-season pennant. An interesting fact about the Texas League in this period was that as members of the Pan American Association, each club played 36 games against Mexican League teams, with the two league winners facing off in the Pan-American Series after each league’s respective playoffs.

THANK YOU JERRY!!!!!
I have lived in Victoria, Texas since I graduated from college in 1976. I also have been a very active customer of Jerry's over the years, in fact, Jerry has done some special jerseys for me over the years, which I really appreciated. But this year, he really did knock it out of the park! To pick the Victoria Rosebuds and make both their 1959 Jersey and ball cap was as good as it gets. I've seen the real thing and, true to Ebbets Field in the past, the items are SPOT ON CORRECT! My wife and I are going to wear them proudly this 2019 season at the Victoria Generals games, the single A team that plays in the same Riverside (formerly Rosebud) Stadium that the 1959 team played at. Years ago, Jerry had offered a Victoria Rosebud T Shirt and I never grabbed one, but I didn't hesitate this time. THANKS JERRY!
