History: Sophomore quarterback Bill Wade didn't play much during the 1949 season even though he was featured on the cover of Look Magazine! He did start and lead the Vanderbilt Commodores to two winning seasons in 1950 & 1951, earning SEC player of the year as a senior. Wade was the NFLs #1 Draft pick in 1952 and played 14 years in the league leading the Chicago bears to a National Championship in 1963. The Vanderbilt Commodores are currently members of the Southeastern Conference (SEC) Eastern division and play their home games on Dudley Field in Vanderbilt Stadium, Nashville Tennessee.
Please note: Within the wool yarns, there may be some slight color variations. This is an inherent trait of the authentic wool we use. This should not be considered a flaw, but like the original garment, merely part of its charm.
